Who owns this bristly scorched-looking face? Death. ⠀ Who owns these still-working lungs? Death. Who owns this utility coat of muscles? Death. Who owns these unspeakable guts? Sometimes, on walks I find neat treasures around my neighborhood. A lot of times its bird feathers and shells. On occasion there are bones. This particular set of feathers came from a seagull which I don't believe met a very good end.
